Eligibility

1. Membership shall be open to Residents and other physicians in the Province of British Columbia.
2. The Board of Directors of the PAR-BC shall have the right to determine eligibility of prospective members or groups seeking representation by the association.
3. Individuals shall make application in writing in the format prescribed together with the payment of an admission fee in an amount as may be determined from time to time by the Board of Directors addressing such correspondence to the Director of Communications of the PAR-BC.

   Initiation Fees and Dues
    

4. Board of Directors of the PAR-BC shall determine initiation fees and dues. The Board shall establish the method of payment. Where 20% of the membership signs a petition, the Board shall make the annual dues the subject of a referendum subject to the provisions of Article VIII.
5. In the event that any member fails to pay any dues as herein provided by virtue of Section 4, for a period of sixty days after the same is due, he or she shall cease to be a member of the PAR-BC. He or She may be restored to membership by paying such dues of which he or she is in arrears at the discretion of the Board.
