The PAR-B.C. Residents Advocate Award is to recognize an individual who does not need to be a physician that advocates on behalf of Residents and in doing so improves their well being. The award will be presented annually to a person who conducts him- or herself in an ethical and professional manner, who is respected in the community and who through his or her advocacy improves Residents' well being in any of the following areas:

- work
- educational
