Resident Awareness Day is on February 21st, 2012. The National celebration is designed to spread awareness of the work of resident physicians.

This poster from CAIR will be featured in hospitals across the nation.

PAR-BC has also released the first of three posters in celebration of Resident Awareness Day.

It will be displayed at bus stops in Vancouver and features a resident. View the video below to see how it was created.

PAR-BC is working on future projects including a job shadowing opportunity that will allow a public figure to follow a resident during a typical hospital day. The campaign is designed to bring awareness of a resident’s role in the hospital on a daily basis. Updates on the Job Shadow project will appear in our News & Events section.

As an important initiative for Resident Awareness Day, PAR-BC worked to highlight the acts that our resident members are performing in their communities. This year, PAR-BC has made a donation to a resident who exemplifies dedication to the future of a particular community.
